  • Clinical consultations

All telehealth sessions are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms.

Benefits of Telehealth

Telehealth can provide several benefits, including:

  • Increased convenience and flexibility

  • Reduced travel time

  • Greater access to care

  • Ability to attend appointments from home or another private location

Telehealth may also allow for more consistent follow-up and continuity of care.

Limitations of Telehealth

While telehealth can be highly effective, there are some limitations:

  • Technology failures or internet disruptions may occur

  • Some aspects of physical assessment are not possible remotely

  • Telehealth may not be appropriate for all clinical situations

  • Privacy risks may exist if sessions are conducted in non-private environments

In some cases, in-person appointments or referrals may be recommended.

Patients are responsible for participating in telehealth sessions from a private location where confidentiality can be maintained.

Sessions should not be recorded by either party without prior written consent.

  • Use a private and quiet location during sessions

  • Ensure a stable internet connection when possible

  • Use a device capable of secure video communication

  • Avoid participating in sessions while driving or engaging in unsafe activities

  • Inform the provider of their physical location at the start of each session (for safety purposes)
